Brentwood Youth AFC.. – Youth Football club in Brentwood

Welcome to Brentwood Youth AFC

News/ Events

Brentwood Youth AFC is an FA Charter Standard youth football club based in the Brentwood area. Brentwood Youth AFC was formed in 2016 when two local like-minded clubs- Brentwood Athletic and Kelvedon Hatch decided to merge, creating a new club with over 400 playing members.

We are proud to welcome boys and girls from the age of 4 into our Academy and see them progress right through to U18 age levels. We have pitches for training and matches at Larkins Playing Fields, Woodlands School, Old Brentwoods and The Nuclear Bunker as well as Astroturf training facilities at Brentwood Prep School and St Martins School.

We are currently playing football in the Brentwood Community Football Alliance, Chelmsford Youth and Essex County Girls Leagues. These offer a mix of festivals, 5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side and 11-a-side matches with the added opportunity for Futsal for certain age groups.

Our coaches are all CRC checked and are required to achieve at least FA Level 1 in coaching- many then progressing to Level 2. We are looking to increase the numbers of girls teams over the coming seasons as part of our commitment to achieving FA Charter Standard Development Club status in 2017.

Our philosophy is to welcome boys and girls of all abilities and help them realise their full potential and, whilst we do group teams ensuring the players are playing at the correct level as they grow and develop, the Managers and Coaches focus is to ensure all players are enjoying their football.
